Yoshi's Story[]
Big Blue Blurps make their only appearance in Yoshi's Story. They primarily appear in Jungle Puddle, and are found less often than regular Big Blurps. They spit water at Yoshi when he is on the ground, trying to knock him into the water. If Yoshi falls into the water, the Big Blue Blurp will try to eat Yoshi. He has excellent aim, so Yoshi does not have a very high chance of surviving. If a Big Blue Blurp eats the Yoshi, the Yoshi will lose all of its petals on the Smile Meter, resulting in losing the Yoshi.
