Bowling Goonies are Goonies that debuted in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are flightless variant of Hefty Goonies that they just roll on the ground. When a Hefty Goonie gets swallowed and then spat out of Yoshi's mouth, it loses its wings and becomes a Bowling Goonie. They can be defeated with a ground pound.

They only appear in two levels (World 5-5 and 5-8) in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
Yoshi's New Island[]
Bowling Goonies reappear in Yoshi's New Island, they once again remain unchanged from the previous game.
