Broozers (also called Boozers or simply Boxers) are boxing Ghosts found in several games. They mainly wander around until Mario or Yoshi approaches them at which point they start swinging their fists around in attempt to punch them. Their punches (while deadly) are also strong enough to break open stone walls that are normally unbreakable. In earlier games, Broozers had a open smile while in more recent games, Broozers have a more menacing grin.
History[]
Broozers are seen in New Super Mario Bros. Wii where they appear in 7-Ghost House. They attack by punching and running towards Mario. Their punches are strong enough to break stoney blocks and they charge towards Mario as they swing their arms. Their patterns can be effectively used to lure them to stone walls and reveal hidden paths to Star Coins or other Secrets. The punch of a Broozer is also strong enough to send Barrels flying at Mario so be careful. Broozers can be defeated with either 3 stomps or a single ground pound. Fireballs or Ice Balls can also be used to defeat them.
Broozers also appear in New Super Mario Bros. U. Their attacks and ways to be defeated are the same as before however this time, they can also be stunned with the help of the Yellow Baby Yoshi's light attack.
Trivia[]
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 is the only New Super Mario Bros. game to not feature the Broozer. Coincidentally, it is also the only NSMB game to not feature Yoshi or Bowser Jr.
