Ground Pounds are moves that lets the Yoshis make small earthquakes to stun certain enemys and to defeat them. In Super Mario World, Yellow Yoshi can make earthquakes by ground pounding. They can defeat a lot of enemies easily. It have appears in every game so far as serves as Yoshi's down special in the Super Smash Bros. series.
