Very Goonies, also known as Hefty Goonies, are very round Goonies that debuted in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are so round that they can barely even fly so they bounce along the ground.

This enemy is very rare that only one appeared in the whole game (in World 5-5) that attacks Purple Yoshi. Eating it or throwing an egg at one will cause it to turn into a Bowling Goonie.
Yoshi's New Island[]
Hefty Goonies reappear in Yoshi's New Island, they once again remain unchanged from the previous game, other than being rideable and appearing more often.
Tetris Attack[]
Hefty Goonie appeared as a cameo in the second stage (Lakitu stage) in the single player modes of the game.

- In Yoshi's Island DS, there is a Very Goonie called Moltz the Very Goonie, and is the only Very Goonie in the game but he is a boss rather than an enemy.
- In Yoshi's Island, Hefty Goonies produce a soft "thud" sound when they land on the ground.
