Pokey is an enemy in Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's New Island it is a small green cactus black eyes.

Pokey remains stationary on the ground they attack by bouncing a green Needlenose on top of their head if Yoshi eats it the Pokey wil frown and lie down becoming temporarily harmless after a few seconds it produce another Needlenose they can only be defeated with an Anywhere POW.
Pokey reappears in Yoshi's New Island they act the same from the previous game.
