Polterpiranha
The Polterpiranha is an enemy in the Yoshi series appearing in Yoshi's Island DS. They are winged, cobalt blue undead variants of Piranha Plants. They inhabit a ghostly form, but with a conflicting motif of feathered wings. It is possible that the Polterpiranha is a reference to an angelic spirit.

The Polterpiranha first appears in Yoshi's Island DS. They move up and down or from both sides. Some can be seen hanging upside. If they touch Yoshi, it will eat him whole for two seconds before spitting him. They can be defeated by throwing an egg at them or using Baby DK's dash attack.
