Propeller Piranha is a enemy in the Yoshi series debuting in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island they are purple Piranha Plants that bear a resemblance to fish.

Propeller Piranha first appears in Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island they usually come in pairs they hover in the air and patrols a set path if they touch Yoshi it will inhale him and chew on him then spit him out they can be stunned by hitting it with an egg they can only be defeated with a POW Block.
Yoshi's New Island[]
Propeller Piranha reappears in Yoshi's New Island retaining their same attack pattern from Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island they are only found in Spray Day Mayday.
