Smiley Flowers, sometimes referred to as simply Flowers, are collectable items that appear in the Yoshi (series). They appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS, Yoshi's New Island, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Yoshi's Crafted World.
Yoshi's Island[]
In Yoshi's Island they are 5 of them in every levels for the player to collect. Each of the Smiley Flower is worth 10 points (added to the total score at the end of the level). Collecting the 5 of them in a level earn the player an 1up upon collecting the last one. Each Smiley Flower collected is also added to the Ring Goal at the end of the stage, increasing the player's chance to get a Bonus Challenge if the roulette falls on the Flower.
Yoshi's Woolly World[]
This game has 6 worlds with 55 levels overall. Each level contains 5 Smiley Flowers. If all of them are collected, one level next to another opens.
Yoshi's Crafted World[]
In this game, Smiley Flowers can be used to be given to meter robots who need their own amount and open their worlds at will.
Trivia[]
- Smiley Flowers does have a counterpart enemy version called Dizzy Dandies, which is very similar except for their smiles.
