Snap Jaw is an enemy in Yoshi's Island DS. It's a small red alligator they are usually found in levels that involve Baby Donkey Kong. They move forward and climb down vines sometimes they can appear when there is no vine nearby touching them from the side or below will damage Yoshi they can be jumped on however.

- Snap Jaws are heavily based on the Snapjaw enemies from the classic Donkey Kong Jr. arcade game however these Snap Jaws appear to be organic unlike those ones which are robotic.
