Spike Tops are a type of Buzzy Beetle that possess red shells and also have a single spike on it. They are also immune to fireballs as their shell is also fireproof. Spike Tops possess the ability to walk along walls, roofs, and floors from any angle. The only way to defeat a Spike Top is with either a Starman, Cape Spin, or a Shell. Yoshi can also eat a Spike Top and iceballs can also freeze them. Spike Tops are essentially a combination of the Buzzy Beetle and the Spiny.
History[]

They can be defeated with either a Starman, a Cape Spin, a Shell, or being swallowed by Yoshi.
