A Thunder Lakitu is a type of Lakitu that has made its only appearance in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. These Lakitus can shoot a lightning bolt that will set the ground on fire briefly. Thunder Lakitus make loud noises when they attack.
